Welcome to Alert Hooks™! We are stock and options trading enthusiasts who leverage the power of the thinkorsim® and Option Alpha® trading platforms to develop and execute complex trading strategies. We rely on technical analysis to inform our trade logic.

The genesis for Alert Hooks™ is born from an automation limitation that exists within the thinkorswim trading platform. That is, the platform only supports two non-realtime methods for technical alert notification (Email and SMS). This limitation affects a cohort of traders who rely on timely alert notification to inform their trade strategy.

A more efficient solution is to utilize webhooks to enable realtime alert notification. Unfortunately, webhooks are not currently supported on the thinkorswim platform. So, for this cohort of traders, their only option is to seek out alternate solutions to enable their automated trading strategies.

This is where Alert Hooks™ comes into the picture. We provide automated conversion of thinkorswim technical alerts (recieved via email) into near-realtime webhooks that traders can use to develop automated trading strategies that are driven by thinkorswim technical studies.

We offer subscription based services that enable integration of thinkorswim alert notifications into Option Alpha automated trading strategies.

Services

Alert Hooks™ flagship service is a monthly subscription which provides traders with access to a secure portal where they can configure their notification rules to convert thinkorswim® technical alerts into near-realtime webhook notifications that integrate with the OptionAlpha® platform.

These webhook notifications can be used as part of a larger construct for setting up technical analysis based rule logic that dynamically informs their OptionAlpha automated trading strategies.

Pricing

Our email-to-webhook integration solution for thinkorswim® and Option Alpha® is made available for $X.XX USD per month after a 30 day free trial period.

IMPORTANT: We have a no refund policy. All sales are final. We do not offer prorated credit for system outages or service disruptions that may occur on any of AlertHooks™, thinkorswim® and Option Alpha® platforms.

When you subscribe to our service you will be assigned a randomly generated AlertHooks™ email address to which you will send your thinkorswim study alerts. You must first configure this email address into your thinkorswim setup for notifications. Thinkorswim will send you an email with a confirmation code. You will then log into your AlertHooks account to capture the confirmation code to complete your email registration on the thinkorswim platform.
